Google’s Gemini AI has quickly become one of the most widely discussed tools in the artificial intelligence space, but until now there was some mystery around how much access users actually get under different plans. A new report has shed light on the exact daily limits for prompts, image generation, and advanced features across the Free, Google AI Pro, and Google AI Ultra tiers.
According to details highlighted by 9to5Google, the Gemini Apps support page now specifies how many prompts users can generate depending on their subscription. Free users of the Gemini 2.5 Pro model will reportedly be able to generate up to five prompts per day. Those subscribed to the Google AI Pro plan will get up to 100 prompts per day, while Google AI Ultra users will have access to up to 500 prompts daily. The context size also varies significantly, with free users limited to 32,000 tokens and paid subscribers gaining access to a massive one million tokens.
The update also mentions image generation limits. Free users can create up to 100 images per day, while both Pro and Ultra users can reportedly generate up to 1,000 images daily. This makes the higher tier plans particularly useful for creators, designers, and businesses who need consistent output.
In addition to prompts and images, the plans also impact access to audio and research features. All users can generate up to 20 audio overviews daily, but the Deep Research tool brings bigger differences. Free users are capped at five reports per month, while Pro users can create up to 20 reports daily and Ultra subscribers can produce as many as 200 reports per day.
There is also a Deep Think feature, which remains exclusive to the Ultra plan. This allows up to 10 prompts each day with a 192,000 token context window, offering far more processing power for complex queries. Video generation with the Veo 3 model is another premium-only feature, with Pro users able to generate up to three videos per day and Ultra users up to five. Scheduled actions are also available, capped at 10 active tasks at a time.
Pricing for these plans in India has already been announced. The Google AI Pro subscription costs Rs 1,950 per month and is available free to students. The Google AI Ultra plan is offered at a discounted Rs 12,200 per month for the first three months, before rising to Rs 24,500 per month. These subscriptions also bring additional cloud storage benefits, with 2TB for Pro users and 30TB for Ultra users.
Although the support page in India has not yet been updated with these specific numbers, it is expected to reflect the changes soon. For now, the new details give users much needed clarity on how Google is structuring access across its AI plans.
With limits now clearly defined, users can better evaluate whether the Free, Pro, or Ultra plan fits their needs, especially those relying heavily on prompts, images, or research tools for professional or creative work.
