Honor is gearing up to bring its latest 5G offering, the Honor X7c, to the Indian market, and excitement is already building. The company has confirmed that the smartphone will officially debut on August 18 and will be sold exclusively through Amazon. Initially unveiled in select global markets in October 2024, the X7c 5G is now ready to make its mark in India with performance-oriented hardware, sleek design, and competitive features.
The Indian variant will come in two striking colour options Forest Green and Moonlight White giving buyers a choice between a bold and elegant look. It will feature a 6.8-inch Full HD+ display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 850 nits, promising vivid colours and fluid visuals. Dual stereo speakers will add to the entertainment experience, while its IP64 rating ensures resistance against dust and splashes. Additionally, the device has earned SGS certification for drop resistance, making it more durable for everyday use.
Under the hood, the Honor X7c 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Users can also expand memory with up to 8GB of virtual RAM. Backing this setup is a 5,200mAh battery with 35W Honor SuperCharge support, designed to keep you going throughout the day while charging up quickly when needed. The device will run Android 15-based MagicOS 8.0 right out of the box, ensuring a smooth and updated software experience.
On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 50-megapixel AI-assisted primary sensor with advanced imaging capabilities, including AI Motion Sensor technology for capturing fast-moving subjects. While the global version came with a 108-megapixel camera and a larger battery, the Indian variant focuses on balanced performance, imaging efficiency, and power management for daily usage.
Pricing for the Indian market is yet to be revealed, but global prices give a hint of its possible affordability. In Azerbaijan, it is sold at roughly Rs. 17,000 for the 6GB+128GB model and around Rs. 20,200 for the 8GB+256GB configuration, making it a competitive player in the mid-range 5G category.
