Realme is gearing up for one of its biggest smartphone launches of the year, with the Realme P4 5G series set to debut in India on August 20. The lineup will include two models the Realme P4 5G and the Realme P4 Pro 5G each designed to offer impressive camera capabilities, powerful hardware, and long-lasting battery life. Ahead of the official launch, the company has revealed full details of their camera setups, display technology, and performance features.

The Realme P4 Pro 5G will sport a sophisticated dual rear camera configuration, led by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX896 sensor with optical image stabilisation for sharper, clearer shots even in challenging lighting conditions. Supporting the main lens is advanced AI-powered photography software, including Hypershot Architecture, Ultra Steady video mode, and AI motion stabilisation. For creators and vloggers, the device offers 4K video recording at 60 frames per second and HDR 4K video at 30 frames per second. On the front, it features a 50-megapixel OV50D selfie camera designed for crystal-clear portraits and high-quality video calls.

The standard Realme P4 5G also packs a solid imaging system, combining a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. It shares many of the Pro model’s AI camera modes, ensuring high versatility for both casual and creative photography. On the front, it houses a 16-megapixel selfie camera, delivering good results for social media and everyday use.

When it comes to performance, the Pro variant is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset with a dedicated HyperVision AI GPU, coupled with a large 7,000 square millimetre AirFlow VC cooling system to maintain smooth gameplay. It promises over eight hours of Battlegrounds Mobile India at 90 frames per second. The device also boasts a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and 10W reverse charging, ensuring extended usage without constant charging breaks.

Its display is another highlight a 6.77-inch HyperGlow AMOLED 4D Curve+ panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, and an incredible peak brightness of 6,500 nits. TÜV Rheinland certification confirms its strong eye protection features, while 4,320Hz high-frequency dimming helps reduce flicker during prolonged use.

The standard Realme P4 5G is no slouch either. It comes equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G chipset, supported by a dedicated Pixelworks chip for enhanced visuals. It offers the same 144Hz HyperGlow AMOLED display with HDR10+ support, along with 4,500 nits peak brightness and 3,840Hz PWM dimming. This model also features a massive 7,000mAh Titan battery, capable of delivering up to 11 hours of continuous BGMI gameplay, with 80W fast charging that can power the device to 50 percent in just 25 minutes.

Both models share the same robust cooling system and advanced AI enhancements, making them strong contenders in the upper mid-range smartphone market. With a focus on photography, display quality, gaming performance, and battery endurance, the Realme P4 5G series is clearly designed for users who demand more from their smartphones.

The launch on August 20 will officially reveal pricing and availability details, but from what has been disclosed so far, Realme appears to be preparing a pair of feature-packed devices that could disrupt the competition.
