Samsung has unveiled its latest flagship tablet series with the launch of the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra at its global Galaxy Event. Unlike previous years, this time there is no Plus model in the lineup. Instead, Samsung has focused on two powerful tablets that aim to set new standards for productivity, creativity, and entertainment.
Both models are powered by the cutting edge MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset built on a 3nm process, paired with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. This hardware combination ensures smooth multitasking, gaming, and high performance computing, making these tablets strong contenders against premium rivals in the market.
The Galaxy Tab S11 comes with an 11 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display while the larger Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra features a massive 14.6 inch screen. Both displays offer a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 1,600 nits, and anti reflective coating options that make them ideal for work and media consumption even in bright lighting conditions.
Samsung has integrated its latest Galaxy AI features into the Tab S11 series, including tools such as Sketch to Image, Note Assist, Drawing Assist, and Google’s Circle to Search. These additions make the tablets highly versatile for students, artists, and professionals who want both creativity and productivity on the go. Users will also benefit from Gemini AI support and enhanced multi device functionality.
The software experience is powered by One UI 8 based on Android 16 with Samsung promising up to seven years of operating system and security updates. A revamped Samsung DeX provides a more powerful desktop like experience, now featuring multiple workspaces, easier access via shortcuts, and smooth external monitor support. This makes the tablets equally suitable for work presentations, remote setups, and everyday productivity.
In terms of cameras, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra houses a dual rear camera setup with a 13 megapixel main sensor and an 8 megapixel ultra wide lens. The regular Galaxy Tab S11 carries a single 13 megapixel camera. Both devices include 12 megapixel ultra wide front cameras for high quality video calls and selfies, a feature that will appeal to professionals attending frequent online meetings.
Battery life is another highlight of the series. The Galaxy Tab S11 packs an 8,400mAh battery while the Ultra model comes with a much larger 11,600mAh battery. Both support 45W fast charging through USB Type C, ensuring users spend more time using their devices and less time plugged in.
Despite their powerful hardware, the tablets remain sleek and lightweight. The Galaxy Tab S11 measures just 5.5mm in thickness and weighs 469 grams, while the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is even thinner at 5.1mm though slightly heavier at 692 grams. Both are available in elegant Grey and Silver finishes.
Pricing starts at 800 dollars in the United States for the Wi Fi model of the Galaxy Tab S11 with 12GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Ultra version begins at 1,200 dollars and goes up to 1,620 dollars for the top end 1TB configuration. India pricing is expected to be announced soon. Pre orders are already live and Samsung is offering free subscriptions to apps like Goodnotes and Clip Studio for early buyers.
With their combination of premium design, powerful performance, long battery life, and advanced AI features, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 series is shaping up to be one of the most versatile tablet lineups of the year. Whether for work, study, or entertainment, these devices aim to deliver a complete package for users who want the best of Android tablets.
