Vivo is preparing to make its next big move in the flagship smartphone segment with the launch of the Vivo X300 series. The excitement has grown even further as the device has now appeared on China’s Radio Certification database, a clear sign that its official debut is just around the corner.
According to well-known tipsters Whylab and Digital Chat Station, two new Vivo models with the codes V2502A and V2502DA have passed certification. The V2502A is believed to be the standard Vivo X300, while the V2502DA could be a special variant offering BeiDou satellite messaging support, a feature that enhances communication in remote or emergency situations. Screenshots shared by the tipsters reveal the listings, though specific hardware details have not yet been disclosed through the certification itself.
Industry insiders suggest that Vivo will launch the X300 alongside the Vivo X300 Pro. The highlight of the lineup is expected to be the adoption of the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, a significant upgrade over the Dimensity 9400 used in the Vivo X200. Paired with this cutting-edge processor, the X300 could deliver improved performance, better power efficiency, and advanced AI capabilities. Camera enthusiasts will also have reason to be excited, as the X300 is tipped to feature a massive 200-megapixel main camera, setting a new benchmark for mobile photography in the Vivo portfolio.
This launch follows the success of the Vivo X200, which arrived in India last December. That model featured a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, and a Zeiss-branded triple camera setup. The X200 impressed with its 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main sensor, 50-megapixel ultra-wide, and 50-megapixel telephoto, along with a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. Its 5,800mAh battery supported 90W wired fast charging and came with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
If the X300 series continues this trend of innovation, users can expect flagship-level display technology, an even more versatile camera system, and robust battery life, all packaged in Vivo’s signature sleek design. Given that the certification process is now complete, the official unveiling could happen within the next few weeks, potentially placing the X300 among the most competitive high-end smartphones of the year.
